153.7850 SPEN 4 (JEMS 4$) 131.8

Notes:
MICCOM Dispatch is  located in Totowa, NJ and dispatches paramedic units from hospitals in Bergen, Passiac and parts of Morris Counties. When an ALS unit goes to a town, they switch to the town's police or EMS frequency for directions to the scene and patient updates.ALS units don't transport patients, the paramedic rides in the back of the town's ambulance. When they go from the scene to the hospital, they switch to JEMS 2 to communicate with the hospital

*=JEMS 1 varies depending on what is the MICU Communication Center for a particular area
+=The PL for JEMS 2 various between Hospitals. The ambulance dials a four digit DTMF tone to activate the PL tone to access each hospital's radio.
#=JEMS 3 is known by all ambulances throughout the state as the "Disaster Channel". It's used to coordinate major medical situtations involving ambulances from different towns, even different counties.
$=JEMS 4 is the same as SPEN 4 which is used by  police, fire, ambulance and OEM to coordinate massive incidents

I have the NJ Emergency Medical Services Communication Plan availableFOR AUTHORIZED PERSONNEL ONLY.
Please E-mail me for more information. Include the name of the department you represent. In return I ask you send in your department's radio plan. I need this to verify you're on an ambulance corps.
